General’s Original Charcoal formula dates back to 1889.  An excellent quality pencil made of highly carbon and fine organic blacks available in 4 degrees of black and 1 degree of white. White can be worked over the black. All are pre-sharpened and have smooth cedar casings.

Charcoal White is an opaque, extra smooth white charcoal pencil. Great for highlighting, drawing on dark, textured papers, or blending with charcoal and chalk pastels. The white cores are bonded to the wood with the exclusive “Carbo-Weld” bonding process for added strength and reliability.
